GUDA-Fx

Zen-Percussion has developed the world's first tongue drum, which has not only the built-in pickups but also has the preamp with EQ and effects. Electronics has been specially designed for our instrument. First generation of GUDA Fx has 4 pickups and preamp onboard with 1 or 2 additional effects (such as Reverb, Chorus, Delay). 

Later we created the second generation of GUDA Fx, taking into account the wishes of our customers. First of all, we have split the electronics - internal preamp with 4-6 knobs is a good Idea, though we decided to make more advanced electronics which would occupie more space inside the drum. Moreover, since we started to make our tongue drums from stainless steel (or stainless steel + aluminium), it makes sense to make all electronics in external module - you can take your stainless Guda wherever you want and not afraid that it will be damaged by water. So, GUDA Fx II has splitted electronics: 4 pickups inside the drum and the external more powerful MultiFx module with advanced (based on FET) preamp with active EQ and 3 effects: Reverberation, Delay and Chorus. The volume, tembre and effects and can be easily adjusted by 9 knobs

GUDA-Fx in the unplugged state is no different from the GUDA Standard - the same design, the same acoustic sound, the same loudness. But when connected to an amplifier or sound card you discover entirely new possibilities

Guda Fx has a standard output "jack" (1/4 inch) and could be connected to the Guda MultiFx pedal or directly to the amplifier, combo or sound card
